Sandra Reemer became famous in the Netherlands when she was 12
years old in 1962.
From 1967 untill 1975 she was in a duo called Sandra & Andres, they participated in the Eurovision Songcontest in 1972.
Then she was solo again. During 1979 and 1980 she was with a band and they called themselves Xandra. In that time they participated once again in the Eurovision Songcontest. (As Sandra did once again solo).
The band without Sandra had a brief period of fame in the Netherlands as Limousine and before that they where called Heart teaming up with yet another famous Dutch solosinger Patricia Paay. (Patricia Paay had also succes with the project "Star Sisters" in the line of "Stars on 45" by Jaap Eggermont.
Since 1980 Sandra is a solosinger again...
The producers and writers of the two songs are a wellknown Dutch duo as performers, producers and writers. One of their songs became a hit for the British band Status Quo and they had a hit with Rock me Amadeus with an Austrian artist Falco.
